THE WRITER'S FESTIVAL IN MILL PARK

The writer's festivals are very popular in Australia. They are an amazing field of innovation, exploring new ways to connect with participants.They serve the interests of many different people in one event.

The Mill Park Library Writers Group, organized the first ever Writers Festival in Mill Park Library. The visitors were able to meet the authors: Helen Said, Ann Harvey, JB Hartnett, Peter Waterhouse, Paula Wilson, attend book promotions in various languages and participate in very interesting workshops such as:  writing short stories by Archie Fusillo, online book publishing with Tina Gephart, book publishing with Blaise van Hecke, writing for children with Ken Williams, the authors 
Australian Macedonian Literary association "Miladinov Brothers", Melbourne also took part in this festival. The members of the Association promoted the books: "Spring in my soul", "Bitola Babam Bitola", "Children of my street," "Naughty childhood" by Ljubica Popovska, 'Eternal Light Over Macedonia "by Gordana Dimovska and anthologies "Pain and Hope "and "Love and sorrow "issued by the literary association "Miladinov Brothers", Melbourne.

The event was a great place where writers were able to connect and inspire with the community. 
The writers group expressed interest in the activities of the Macedonian literary association "Miladinov Brothers" and one of the organizers Jack Chang invited the members to take part in the next year's Writer's festival in Mill Park.
