MT - Tell us more about the award-winning film Staro Skopje

Sime - Film is somehow a special love, a special energy that radiates and conquers everything around you, you need to understand it to establish a communication to live with it and enjoy it. Film is a silence that turns into a special energy that conquers the space with its breadth and beauty and gives you a special feeling of being able to enjoy and empathize with a role as if you were playing a role.
We have worked on many films and collaborated with top directors in the world, a very interesting thing is that you always improve and learn new things and a flood of many ideas you have a great wealth you can't even decide which idea to accept because each one is beautiful in its own way. This work is laborious but on the other hand you enjoy when you think that you are making a work of art that will remain forever and which will be watched and which will bring pleasure to those who will watch all that work of art documentary or feature film. We had many incidents during filming some funny but some with injuries but all that passes when you see the pleasure in the eyes of the team working on the project.

MT - What do you actually represent in the film 
Sime - We decided in some way in my films to represent the beautiful Macedonia, its natural beauties, customs, tradition, in a word, everything that is beautiful is ours. We participate in many film festivals, various collaborations, we collect experiences because there is always something new. The last award, and I have many, is the second place in Sicily, a beautiful film festival for the documentary Staro Skopje, a beautiful documentary, a beautiful story, an excellent team is behind all this, Zorana, Sashe, Zoki, Bube and others, and we hope for a lot of viewing of the film everywhere it will play and success at film festivals. Our goal is the well-known Oscar for popularity, we work very hard, but with work and faith in God, I think God will open those doors to the Hollywood scene for us. We finance ourselves, we have support from our friends and my cousin from America, who has been helping us all these years because he is aware that art has no boundaries, only with hard work there is success. 








We are called Macedonian art ambassadors who represent Macedonia in a beautiful light with its culture, art and generosity in the world. We are a peaceful, warm people who love peace and quiet and accept the world and world culture and art, but for us, the best and best thing is that the world already appreciates all of that and rewards and observes it in that field.

MT - At the end what are your plans, what will you work on?


Sime - Finally, we promise to continue with the hard work, we will not give up, but we will tread hard on that solid film ground and we will try to have results. A big thank you to my cousin Smiki for the selfless support and to our friends all over the world and of course to you Timeline Australia who follow us and always surprise us with beautiful titles and stories. Advice: watch as many films as possible to feel that energy that relaxes you after hard work, to enjoy and empathize with the roles, you never know, maybe one day you will be a part of it and maybe your dream will come true. 




Film is a silence that goes through your body and carries a message everywhere throughout the vastness in which you are.

Иконостасот со трите престолни икони се издига скоро до таванот. Иконите според натписите кои се наоѓаат на нив потекнуваат од 1929 година. Најважната содржина, со која го задржува вниманието црквата „Свети Атанас“, се остатоците на ѕидното сликарство врз источниот ѕид од олтарниот простор. Според стилските карактеристики како и според сочуваниот натпис ова сликарство потекнува од првите децении на 17 век.
