DAYDREAM

Author: Lanilyn Bernardez Mercado

These deep dreams on the cold summer nights,

Your memories keep rushing on my mind,

Deep inside me is wanting to forget,

For the more I think you the more I regret,

That I should never let our relationship last,

I should  accept you of what you are,

And never affected by the whispers of the crabs,

Now I realize that my life is so boring,

Coz’ you’re not in my side to keep me smiling,

In the peak of the day  I dream,

That you came back and with so much joy I scream,

Thank you for in a short while

You made me wear a smile.
