EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW SIME MLADENOVSKI - The figure who raises Macedonian tradition and history to the world's film thrones!

With a vision that transcends borders and a heart dedicated to the homeland, producer and author Sime Mladenovski tirelessly achieves international triumphs. From the prestigious art film festival in Liechtenstein, through triumphs in Larissa (Greece) and Albania, to the recognizable author's TV project "Faces and Deeds" on TV Solnce - Mladenovski tells the Macedonian story with world-class brilliance and supreme artistic precision.
Question: Mr. Mladenovski, your projects are constantly crowned with high recognitions across Europe. How do you see your mission to transform Macedonian tradition and history into world-renowned film art?
Sime Mladenovski: My guiding mission has always been clear: Macedonian tradition, rich history and our unique identity deserve to be presented at the highest production and artistic level. When you enter a project with passion and sincerity, the film language becomes universal. Through the show “Faces and Deeds” on TV Solnce, we have created a permanent archive of people and events that build our identity, and through film production we transmit that energy directly to the world public.
Question: The International Film Festival in Liechtenstein was just one of the great successes for your documentary film “Old Skopje”. What was the path to these high recognitions?
Sime Mladenovski: “Old Skopje” is a project in which we brought an exceptionally high level of emotions, historical authenticity and top cinematic aesthetics. Winning international statuettes and artistic awards at the Liechtenstein festival was confirmation that the authentic Macedonian story has the power to touch everyone’s heart. This success proved that Macedonian film can stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest European achievements.
Question: You recently expanded your successes at the Larissa, Greece, and Albania festivals. What do these latest triumphs and the gold plaques you won mean to you?
Sime Mladenovski: The latest recognitions and awards from the Larissa, Greece, film festival, as well as the successes at the festivals in Albania, are extremely significant because they come from the region and from strict expert juries. By winning the special recognitions and gold plaques (including the recognitions for the MND1 and MDI1 models), the quality, detail and vision behind our production have once again been confirmed. Being awarded on such renowned international stages is a huge honor, but also an obligation to continue creating even greater works.
Question: How important is the cooperation with the Macedonian diaspora to you, and especially with our people in Australia through platforms like Macedonian Timeline?
Sime Mladenovski: The connection with the Macedonian community in Australia is of essential importance to me. Our people in Australia are true guardians of the Macedonian spirit, language and culture. Projects like Macedonian Timeline are an unbreakable bridge that overcomes geographical distance and allows all our successes, traditions and historical truths to be a common pride. Cooperation with our brothers and sisters in Australia inspires me and gives me even greater strength for future projects.
Question: What is your message for the future and for all those who preserve Macedonian art and identity?
Sime Mladenovski: History is not forgotten when it is translated into art, and tradition is alive as long as we have the passion to tell it. Our goal remains the same – new film projects, new international festivals and even greater promotion of Macedonian cultural heritage around the world.

Сите преправки, според натписот врежан во малтерот над влезот од надворешната страна се направени во 1968 год.  Внатрешноста на црквата со олтарната преграда е поделена на наос и олтарен простор. Иконостасот со трите престолни икони се издига скоро до таванот. Иконите според натписите кои се наоѓаат на нив потекнуваат од 1929 година. Најважната содржина, со која го задржува вниманието црквата „Свети Атанас“, се остатоците на ѕидното сликарство врз источниот ѕид од олтарниот простор. Според стилските карактеристики како и според сочуваниот натпис ова сликарство потекнува од првите децении на 17 век.
